1) Remove the battery. Re-insert battery while holding down button 3 until password or frequency appears, then let off button 3.
The password will be either "0000" or "2095"
2) If password is shown, press button 4 one time until the frequency is displayed on the screen. Press button 2 to select the digit to change on the screen. Press button 3 to change the desired digit. Repeat until desired frequency is set (467.8000 default). Use button 2 to scroll over to WB or NB and set to desired bandwidth by pressing button 3 (NB default).
3) Press button 4 one time until capcode is displayed on the screen. First verify that the desired capcode is set to "ON", then using button 2, scroll through the digits to set the correct capcodes using button 3 until the desired code is set. Also verify the last four letters are set to "AAAA".
4) Continue pressing button 4 to set up to 6 different capcodes if needed. Use the same procedure from step 3 if additional capcodes are needed.
5) Press button 4 until baud = is displayed on the screen. Press button 3 until desired baud is displayed (512 default).
6) Press button 4 until modify password is displayed (0000 default). Using button 2 to scroll through digits and button 3 to set the digits if desired.
7) Press button 4 until adjust contrast is displayed. This can be changed if desired, however the default is 5.
8) Pressing button 4 one more time will display pass. The pager will then restart and display the time and date.
